The weather is still up in the air but things look good for races tomorrow. The forecast is for chance of rain 40% around noon. Clearing skies,the high is forecast at 63-65 with some south wind. We will update this page in the morning early. After that update you will have to call the track phone for the lastest info.

HAPPY NEW YEAR
Things are going good and the track is getting reeady for the 1st race of the year. The work outside the track continues and that work is improving the look around the track. Next year there will be a prime area for watching races when completed. With this raised area the whole look around the track is much better.

January 1st RACES
The forecast was changed again and now the outlook is for 'light' rain possible Thursday morning. This is nice and sounds as if we will not have to worry about the rain now. The weekend forecast has also changed to possible snow on Sunday with a high temp of 38. We will watch this as it may change before the weekend.

YA JUST MISSED OUT
As the work continues on and around the track things are changing as time carries on. The track is near 'ready to ride' condition and I'm sure there was some riding going on today. Some work remains to be done but this will addressed tomorrow evening and Wednesday evening. The weather today was again very nice for December and we all hope it lasts at least till 2010!

January 1st RACES
Again the forecast has changed for the better with some decreasing the chance of rain to 20% and some saying 'light rain' not thunderstorms. It is still a wait and see on this one.

WORK DAY TODAY
Today we worked on the track most of the day. Most looks very good with a few places still to wet to work. With the cooler weather and little wind these last few days it takes longer for the track to dry off after a rain.

January 1st RACES
If you go by the local weather forecasts we will not race Thursday. Today the forecast is for 60%+ chance of thunderstorms on NEW YEARS day. We are not concerned now as the forecast changes 'at the drop of a hat' around here. However the weekend looks good for races both Saturday and Sunday. We will keep an eye on this.

RAIN TODAY
Today started off cooler and damp and just got wetter till about 1pm. The clouds began to clear and things started to dry out. Tomorrow will be a real good day for working on the track for next weeks races. The track will be in good shape for the Thursday race.

Vacation is almost over and the weather forecast for Thursday has changed each day for the last 3 days. As it stands now the forecast is for rain and cool weather. The way the weather changes here is may be up in the air till Wednesday evening before we can make a decision about racing. What a way to start off the year!

WORK CONTINUES
The work around the track continues and things are starting to look much better and we should have a nice raised area on the southwest of the track to park and have a great view of the entire track from your car.

The track is getting some long needed work today and things are starting to get smooth. The fence on the east side of the starting hill has been fully repaired and looks much better now. With a lot of water and some more work in the next week the track will be ready for racing Thursday.

T'WAS THE NIGHT BEFORE CHRISTMAS...

MORE SIDE WORK
Today started off cooler and damp but things dried out some today and we are more sunshine and warmer weather tomorrow. More work today on the river bank and things look much better today as this work is changing the surroundings.

VACATION FROM BMX?
No work on the track today. It did get cloudy and start raining late in the day. The rain will soften the track for the work ahead.
Some FOR SALE items have been taken off the list for those who may venture there looking for good stuff.
Work is continuing on the river area. Word is it is the beginning of some major beautification along the river banks. Walking / Jogging trails and a pond with a trees going in on the south side of the track.

WORK HAS BEGUN
The track is looking a little better today after some work. The 1st straight is much smoother and work will continue around the track the rest of this year for racing in 2004. With tire tracks in some place 6 inches wide and deep it will take some work before things are finished. What an awful mess.
The weather was again just out of the story books. Highs in the upper 60's and some wind made for a great day.

BEAUTIFUL DAY
Another beautiful day today with cool temps in the morning but it made it to the 60's in the afternoon and was very nice for mid December weather. The track is completely dry now and ready for some hard work to get back in shape for racing the first of January.
In case you haven't paid much attention to what is posted here Sooner Pearl wll be racing a few extra races in 2004. Each month we have scheduled the 1st Tuesday evening as a race day. This should allow us to have about 12 extra races next year (weather permitting).

ANOTHER GREAT DAY
We had another great day of weather today. The track has dried for the most part but it is in sad shape. More construction work has been taking place on the west side of the track and along the river side. After talking to the River Front Authority officials it sounds like ther will be more work around the track in the coming weeks.

COOL AND NICE
The weather today was cool and cloudy but still nice for mid December. Major construction work has begun around the track and the surrounding river side near the track. It looks as if the majority of the work will be for the river front areas and the widening of the drainage ditch which runs on the east side of the track.
The track is still damp in places and in pretty bad shape due to the riders who rode on the track last Sunday.

SECOND DAY OF VACATION?
Work continues on the west side of the track and we are not sure just what is going on yet but there are some earth moving equipment and other heavy duty machines located near the track. It looks as if there will be major work done near the track soon.
The track is to damp for riding on today and the damage from the motorcycles is starting to dry out now. After looking at the track in the daylight the damage is even worse than it seemed on Sunday evening. It is NOT PRETTY!

VACATION?
We passed the end of the race season now and the weather has again changed to a little warmer and things are drying out. We are working on 'vacation' stuff this week and have many new things ahead for the 2004 Race Season. It looks as if the track will be very busy with racing and work at the track for the year ahead.
The weather was again cold today with clouds and strong winds making for a very typical winter day here in Oklahoma City. The forecast is for clearing skies and warmer temps in the next few days.

HOT AND COLD
Today is the Official Last Race day of the year.
The track is still to wet to ride on from the snow this weekend along with the fact we had some riders on the track yesterday afternoon. That in itself is not so bad except they rode mini cycles and just destroyed the track. It will take some work to get it back to rideable form. If you encounter riders on the track riding mini cycles or any motor power vehicle please just call the POLICE. The track is not made for these vehicles.
What a strange weather day today with a mild morning then 68° just to get cold to end the day with 30's. Thats Oklahoma weather at its best.

NO RACE TODAY
We have come to the end of this season and will cancel races for today.
The track is to wet for races and will not be dry enough for a day or two to ride on due to the snow and sleet we got Friday and Saturday. Now we must get ready for the most anticipated day of the year. Then we can start getting ready to start off the 2004 season with races on January 1st.

RAIN, SNOW, SLEET
The weather was cold, wet and frozen today.
What a day for the weather men today with a mix of just about all you can get in one day today. Cloudy and cold with rain moving in in the morning turning to freezing rain then sleet then snow in the afternoon.

We will not race today due to the cold temps.
The track is dry and in good shape but the weather is to cold for races today. We will try again Sunday and that will be it for this year. We have had a great year this year and we raced more times this year than last year. We have scheduled races for next year already soon it will be time to start the new schedule. As most of you know both Sooner Pearl and Yukon will be racing January 1st to start the year off right.

LAST RACE?
The weather has gone down hill.
The snow moved out and we should be able to race tomorrow evening. As it looks now that will be our last race of the year. Weather forscats has more bad weather coming in Friday and Saturday. If it is as bad as the forecast Sunday will see the end to snow and maybe clearing weather for next week. We hope it misses us and we can race one last time Sunday.

Practice has been cancelled due to the weather.

RACES YESTERDAY
What another great day of races.
The weather was on our side and we had another nice day at the track. After the GRANDS we tend to have out of state riders who show up to race as their track may be closed for the rest of the year. We want to thank our visitors and invite everyone to come out and race.
As the season winds down we will continue to race if the weather permits. As it looks now we may have some rain or snow Tuesday so Practice may have to be cancelled this week but we will be racing Thursday if the rain misses us or we don't get much.

We were there where were you?
We had another beautiful evening for racing and NO RIDERS. Thanks to the few riders who did come out to race. All you others missed one of the last few occasions to race this year.

We will be changing the Sign up times this week starting tomorrow evening. The 'new' times are actually what we used last year. The Thursday Sign ups will be back to 6-7pm and Sunday Sign ups will go back to 1-2pm.

For late November the weather has been great this last 4 days.
While many have been gone to Tulsa for the GRANDS ther has been work going on at the track. Things will continue to change there as the year ends and we start the 2004 season.

WE RACED
Another beautiful night for races.
The weather was on our side last night, boy was it nice. Again a great night to be at the track getting ready for the GRANDS

NO RACE TODAY
We will NOT race today due to the cold weather.
With temps in the 30's and a wind chill of 19 it is TOO COLD to race today. Sorry riders as nice as it was yesterday it looked like we would be able to race today but the weather has went south for this weekend.
We will race Tuesday evening if the weather in warmer as the forecast now shows it may be in the upper 50's. This will be a last minute call as the low is forecast to be 30 and as we know the temperatures drop after the sun goes down which is when we would be racing.

The time is growing short and soon it will be time to travel to Tulsa. This year has been a good year for BMX in Oklahoma. Now is the time you riders go to Tulsa to show people Oklahoma is a BIG BMX state. All of the Board members and parents here in OK01 wish all our riders the BEST at the GRAND National race this year. We need everyone to do your best and have a lot of fun next weekend along with bringing home some TROPHIES!

Yukon BMX is having a 'TOYS for TOTS' race today, Sign ups 1-2pm.
Bring a new toy worth 5 bucks or more and race FREE!. The weather forecast is nice for today with a high in the 60's. Let's help Yukon get some great toys for children who may not have a nice toy for Christmas this year.

The rain came into town today with some Severe storms in the mix.
Since the track was still wet from the Saturday rain it will need some work before any races can be run. With riders riding on the track Sunday there are rough spots where the track was muddy from the rain Saturday.

What a great evening for Practice.

At 2:45pm the track was a little damp at the starting hill and dry in all other areas. Tonight should be a beautiful night to come out and Practice for the BIG ONE later this month. See you there.

RACE TODAY
We will race today with Sign Ups from 2-3pm.
The track is dry and for the most part ready for races. One area needs some work before races to smooth the surface but NO MUD! The grass was wet at 8am but should dry out later today before races. The winds are down below 10 mph and will shift to the SE for races today. It should be a great day to race and today will be one of your last chances to race before the GRANDS. We only have 4 more race dates till the GRANDS. Come get ready for the biggest BMX race in the WORLD.

MISTING RAIN TODAY
The heavy rain stayed away today with only light misting part of the day. The track at 4pm today was dry with no mud and in good shape for races tomorrow. A little work at the starting hill and the track will be more than ready. Come out early and help us get ready!

The races last night were on the cool side and the winds did slow down before races. I was a real night evening for racing and we had some good races to watch.

We did race yesterday with a light turn out but the racers were ready to

We have had some changes at the track. Our current Board President and Track Operator (David Davis) has resigned as of 10-22-2003. We have moved Tresa Cantrell into his position till the end of the year when our NEW Board members will take their positions.

UPDATED PAGES
Once again the web site is undergoing some updates.
Some changes you will notice and others may go unnoticed. A new look for many pages and updated links and info.

We have had some changes at the track. Our current Board President and Track Operator (David Davis) has resigned as of 10-22-2003. We have moved Tresa Cantrell into his position till the end of the year when our NEW Board members will take their positions.

RACE YESTERDAY
The racing was HOT and the weather was cool yesterday.
We had a good turn out of riders and are seeing riders who haven't been out for a while. It is good to see everyone back at the track.

RACE TODAY!
We will be racing today with Sign ups from 6:30-7:30pm.
The track is in good shape and the weather is really nice today. It should be a great night to come out and race. The weather is forecast to go down hill tomorrow and be much cooler this weekend.

One thing is sure that Miss Julia Buck is a VERY GOOD rider!
Next time you see her tell her she is doing a great job. Currently listed as #5 NAG in both 11 Girls and 11 Girls Cruiser.
Now is you time to vote for the 2003 Golden Crank Awards. You could vote for Clint Daily our resident ROOKIE PRO or any of the other riders who may be a favorite of yours. You must vote NOW as the dead line is October 31st.

We did Practice last night and the weather was great again. They say it will be cold next weekend so Thursday races may be the last warm races this year. You need to come out before it gets to cold.

The track will be open for Gate Practice from 6:30-8:30pm.
There have been some BIG changes at the track. The Board has had a change in its members, these changes are till the end of the year now. More on this later.

RACE TODAY
We will be racing today Sign-ups from 2:00-3:00pm.
The weather has been cool and the track is starting to heat up. We have been getting more new members and the track is buzzing with new faces. We are seeing some riders out who have not been around for a awhile and it is nice to see them out again.

Saturday work
There will more work on the track soon as we have more fence material now and will see the fence repairs finished. Maybe we can get the west fence and gates completed soon also.
The weather was nice today with the temps in the 80's and clear skies. Just beautiful.

YESTERDAYS RACES
There were some great races last night. We saw so of the little guys show just how to hang with the big guys. It was a lot of fun for all.
The girls are coming to the track, you guys better watch out. They are ready to get some wins.

The weather has turned much cooler today and will most likely stay this way for a while, next weekend is forecast to be a little warmer.

NO WORK DAY TODAY
The track has dried most of the way and if we don't get more rain (as is forecast for chance of rain today) we should be able to race Sunday.
This is the time of year when we will begin to have rain and colder weather, if you want to Practice or Race you need to come out on the few days we will be able to do these.

RAIN TODAY
The rain continued overnight and into this morning. Clearing started late in the morning but it was cloudy till about noon. The track did have a rider or two who couldn't stay off so there are areas which will need work before races Sunday.

WORK DAY
Much work is needed around the track. Some of the fence has been damaged, the track needs to be mowed. These are but a few items on the list of 'Work to be done'. We would like to have WORK DAYS on saturdays till the end of the racing year, weather permitting of course.
Ther will however be some saturdays we will not work. October 4th will be one of the non-WORK DAY saturdays.

RACES?
We did race last night and the riders were HOT but the weather was cool. After so handy work on the track (during Sign-ups) the track is much more smooth than last week.

Czech Festival
October 4, at Yukon is the Annual Czech Festival Last year many riders from District OK01 rode in the Parade Saturday morning. This year YUKON BMX will allow you to race Saturday evening FREE if you ride in the Parade in the morning. Word is to meet on Garth Brooks at 9am and look for 'Group 30'. RACE YESTERDAY
The track was open for races and race we did till after dark last night. The weather was good with a little wind but the temps made up for the wind. It was nice and cool almost cool enough for a jacket.

BEAUTIFUL WEATHER
The GRANDS are not far away and we have been getting mail regarding races the week before the BIG ONE. It seems people are already getting their schedule ready for this event. We may have many out of town rides here for local races before the GRANDS.
