WORK DAY/PRACTICE TODAY
Once again we had a great night at the track last night. Much work was done and the track is looking very good now. Most of our work was focused on the 2nd straight so now it looks very good with just a little grass left to remove. With all the turns in great shape and half the straights in great shape the track is getting faster and smoother. Since we now have our 4 wheeler back in service we have been able to pack and smooth areas which have not seen much attention this year.

WORK DAY/PRACTICE TODAY
The track will be open tonight after 6:30pm. We will be out working on the track tonight. We will have the gate equipment at the track but will not race tonight. We still have a few rough places on the track and we will be working there tonight. In the last week the track has become much more smooth and fast. Once we get everything smoothed out the track will be very fast as we now have our 4 wheeler back. Now if we can get more dirt to work with for the track we may start working on the 2nd straight soon.

MORE WORK TO BE DONE
The never ending story about a BMX track is work, work, work and we have our hands full of work to be done both on the track and around the track. We have been out working on the track and it is looking great where we have worked and should be looking much better shortly. We have been attacking grass on the track and much has already been removed although we have much more to remove. This as well should be finished in the next couple weeks.

PRACTICE TODAY
The track will be open for Practice tonight from 6:30-8:30pm. The weather forecast shows cool for the evening and this will be a great night to come out to get in some practice. We will be working on the track again tonight so the track will be looking better after we leave for the evening. Be sure to check out our Thursday evening event this week as well and again we will have some cooler temps for Thursday evening.

THURSDAY WORK DAY
Again this week we will have a WORK DAY on Thursday evening. We will have to talk to our Chef to see about the FREE FOOD offer this week but we will be out working on the track. As the summer gets started and things start to heat up we have a few suprises in store for riders who come out to race at Sooner Pearl, the only way you will find out about these will be to attend events at our track. We may have a little sneak info on some but most will be un-announced.

LETS RACE
Sooner Pearl will race today with Sign ups from 1-2pm. We should be able to race today as all the rain is now west and south of the city. The track is looking good and today will be a great day to be at the track. We will be handing out the Race for Life envelopes for those who would like to help raise money for this race.

MORE CHANGES SOON
As it looks things are going to change at Sooner Pearl very soon. It seems there has been a big push to get a few things done which are going to make a big difference in the track. With all the work which has been done lately and a few things planned for the near future riders will be happy to be out racing at Sooner Pearl. We have a few changes planned for the track lay-out and in other places which will soon be done. These changes will be noticable to riders and specators as well.

OUR WORK DAY YESTERDAY
Thursday was our WORK DAY for the track and those who made it out had a great time working and eating the FREE FOOD we had prepared for the evening. It was more fun than expected and we really did get some work done on the track. Our turns are now in good shape and the 1st straight is very smooth and really fast. Our next work will be getting the 2nd straight back in shape and getting our pesky grass off the track. We have been working on the grass as well, we have much dead grass to be cleaned off the track.

WORK DAY TODAY
We will have a WORK DAY tonight from 6:30-8:30pm. The track still (always) needs work and we will be out working tonight. We invite everyone who would like to help on a WORK DAY from 6:30 until ????. Those who come out and help work on the track will be treated to FREE Hot Dogs, Hamburgers and drinks. This will be a good time to get some gate practice and help us work on the track. Who knows what else may happen.

PRACTICE TODAY
We will have Practice tonight from 6:30-8:30pm. We did get most of the of the real rough stuff cleaned up on the track so we could practice tonight. The 1st and 3rd turns have been completely raked and look great , we will be out working on the 2nd turn tonight and get things in shape to race this weekend.

YESTERDAYS WORK DAY
We got a bunch of work done last night and the track is starting to be smooth again. With more work we should have it in great shape by the weekend. This next weekend may be a real HOT weekend of racing here in OK01. Things are changing as we speak and you will be looking at some great work done on both track this week and next week. NO RACE TODAY/FATHERS DAY
Sooner Pearl will not Race today as the track is to rough to ride on after the rain yesterday. The turns took a beating from the rain and we will need to do some work on them before we will be able to ride the track safely. We did have a couple places wash out but those places can be repaired easily. Or main concern is the turns and the big jumps did wash out some but not bad.
Today is Fathers Day, Happy Fathers Day to you BMX Dads. Since we were unable to race today we will reschedule our Fathers Day race on another date. Keep your eyes open for more info on this special race.

WORK DAY
Well we have some heavy rain early this morning as it stands we have had a little over 1-3/4 inches so far this morning. At 5pm the track was still wet in a few places, the rain did wash the turns and they are rough now. We may have more rain this evening. A couple of us did get some work done around the track today. The track itself was to wet to work on today. We did have a big puddle in the infield area as our central drain is still not working very well. None of the track was under water and we had no standing water on the track today.

NO CLINIC TODAY
It is Friday and again no one called for a Clinic this week. It looks like riders have decided to not attend any Clinics lately and we may just stop trying to have them for a while. We have more rain in the forecast for tomorrow and we could use more rain except on the track. The grass is starting to get dry and the track is starting to crack from being dry as well.

Sooner Pearl will be closed today and we will not Race today. We will be having a Work Day on Saturday June 17th starting at noon. We will be out working on the track that day and we could use your help getting the track back into great shape.
Sunday June 18th is Fathers Day and all Fathers who are ABA member can race FREE that day. We invite all Fathers out to race and have some fun on Sunday (weather permitting). We do have rain in the forecast so please call our track phone before leaving to race Sunday to get the latest info.

MORE HOT AND DRY
It won't be long now till the full heat of Summer is here and things will be hot and dry for a couple months. ABA members need to continue to work on their riding skills as we have more BIG races just around the corner in Oklahoma and Nationals which are close. Now is the time to be out riding and working hard to prepare for the State Qualifiers next month at Sooner Pearl BMX and Sand Springs BMX. There will be 2 more Race for Life races this year, the State Championship Final and the Central Redline Cup Final which will wrap up Multi point races for this season at the local tracks.

PRACTICE TODAY
Sooner Pearl will be open today for Practice from 6:30-8:30pm. We have started to work on the track as it has not seen much work for about a month now. With all the rain we have had the track is in good shape with some loose material in the turns. We could use more rain to help keep the track damp so we can work without watering and it looks as if we may have more rain before the weekend. We do need more rain though and we are sure the plants would like a little watering as well.

Today marks the start of the Oklahoma State Championship Series. With the race at Yukon BMX today, Sign ups from 10-11:30am the whole Series gets kicked off and starts a weekend of Multi point races. After the State Qualifier at Yukon we have a Race for Life at Sand Springs BMX with Sign ups from 5 - 6:30pm. The weekend ends on Sunday with one of the biggest races of any season the Redline Cup Qualifier again at Sand Springs with Sign ups from 11 - 12:30pm. That is 2 Double point and 1 Triple point

NO RACE TODAY
Sooner Pearl will be closed today so riders can attend the Redline Cup Qualifier at Sand Springs BMX today. If you want to race the Redline Cup Final this season this will be the closest Qualifier and only Qualifier in Oklahoma this year. In order to race the Final you MUST race and qualify for the MAIN in at least 1 qualifier. If for some reason you are not able to attend the race in Sand Springs today there are other Qualifiers in other states which you can attend. Check the ABA website for a schedule of these important races.

NO RACE YESTERDAY
It seems there was a misunderstanding about Thursday evening races at Sooner Pearl last night, we want to get this straight with everyone. Riders who did show up were unable to race as we did not have enough riders to race Thursday (below our required 10 riders). Thursday evening races are not unusual at Sooner Pearl as we had stopped Thursday races during the beginning of 2006. Now Sooner Pearl is back to our REGULAR race schedule which we had before 2006. Some riders have not raced at Sooner Pearl during the early part of the year since we stopped our Thursday races.

RACE TODAY
Time to start racing again on Thursday evenings at Sooner Pearl. Sign ups from 6-7pm tonight. This will be your last chance to race before the big weekend of racing next weekend, now is the time to get more track time and be just a little more prepared to race the 1st State Qualifier on Saturday. We should have some great late Spring weather for both days of races and we want riders to come out and have a good time getting the State Championship Series started for 2006.

PRACTICE TUESDAY
It was a real shame for you to miss Practice last night as we had a great time and the riders who did show up did a lot of work on the track yesterday. With the State Championship Series starting next Saturday last night was our last somewhat cool night this week to Practice before the BIG race. As said we had lots of fun and the riders were tired when everyone left for the evening. Thanks to all who came out and to those who helped last night.
Sooner Pearl will be closed Sunday June, 11 so the local riders can focus on the races coming this weekend. GOOD LUCK this weekend!

PRACTICE TODAY
It is Tuesday and time for Practice at Sooner Pearl. The track will be open for Practice from 6:30-8:30 tonight. Some of us will be out working as usual and all the work is showing now as the whole area and track is beginning to look good now. Don't forget your last chance to race in town before the weekend kicks off is Thursday evening at Sooner Pearl. As before our Sign up times are 6-7pm on Thursdays, we will be closed Sunday so all the local riders have a chance to race the races this weekend. As it looks now this weekend will be very hot so be sure and keep those riders in the shade and make sure they have plenty to drink! GOOD LUCK this weekend!

MORE HEAT WITH NO RAIN
This morning Mother Nature woke many to the sound of thunder but as many times before we were missed by the rain here in the city. It was nice till after noon then the heat kicked in and it was HOT! We will have more of that the rest of the week and into next week. We should have some HOT dry weather for the weekend of racing coming up. Sooner Pearl will be closed Sunday June 11th. We want to wish everyone GOOD LUCK in racing next weekend. Keep cool and hydrated!

RACE TODAY
Sooner Pearl will be open to race today with Sign ups from 1-2pm. The track is dry but a little rough from the last rain. Today we will have great weather for racing with a little wind and a high temp near 88. The next weekend will kick off The State Championship Series and Sand Springs BMX will have the only Redline Cup Qualifier in Oklahoma. Now is the time to get ready for these races. Only one more chance to race at Sooner Pearl before these races which is next Thursday evening.

NO RAIN TODAY
We have had some hard rain lately but the track is in good shape considering our rain last Thursday afternoon. The turns are fairly smooth and the rest of the track is good for riding or racing. In the next week we will be out working on the track to get things back to the real smooth condition we want it to have. Before to long it will be really dry and working on the track will require much watering to start working of any sort. Once things dry out for the summer little work will be required to maintain the track in great riding shape. We will be having a few WORK DAYS in the next weeks to prepare for the dry season. The phone never rang so we will not have a Clinic tonight. Riders interested in taking a BMX Clinic should let Dennison know before Friday so he can schedule his next Clinic. With BIG races coming soon now is a good time to get track time and hone those riders skills with a Clinic.

After changing the message here and on the phone last last night Mother Nature decided we were not to race today. We got more rain at about 2pm this afternoon and the track is now to wet to ride on today. Things looked good and the track will be dried out to have a Clinic tomorrow if we don't get any more rain today. As it looks we will not be getting any more for today and things should be dried enough to ride tomorrow. You should call Dennison now if you want to attend a Clinic tomorrow.

RAIN EARLY TODAY
It was a rough morning with heavy rain over most of the city area. With 1.82 inches falling just miles from the track is was nice to see the track nearly dry at 8pm today. There was still standing water in the drive but not on the track. We did however have a couple riders who did find a damp spot in the 1st. straight even then the track is in good shape.

THURSDAY NIGHTS
Sooner Pearl will start opening on Thursday evenings again and it looks as if we will be racing on Thursdays. Since the rider count has been so low on Sundays we may stop racing on the weekends and race on Thursdays instead. We will wait to see what happens before we make any decisions on our Sunday races.

NO PRACTICE LAST NIGHT
A real dead night at the track with only 1 rider coming out to Practice last night. Our riders have little time to get ready for the upcoming races during June and July here in Oklahoma. Don't let these races sneek up on you or you may not like what happens.

We will be out working around the track this evening during practice and we could use your help. If you are interested in helping just let someone in the tower know and we can line you out on a task. Remember without volunteer help our track would not be in as good as it is now.

THURSDAY NIGHTS
Thursday evening at Sooner Pearl will begin June 1st. We want to invite all our riders out on Thursday along with Tuesday and Sunday. Tuesday will be our Regular Practice night, Sunday a regular race day.
The track will be open for Practice Tuesday evening. The track is in good shape however we do have some loose material in places. We also have grass both on and off the track. The grass on the track will be sprayed soon and we will post notice before we spray here and on the message machine at the track phone.

We will not Race today.
We will have to cancel for today but hope to be open on Tuesday evening. We are sorry for not racing today and hope to see everyone Tuesday. Well after the day is over we did not get any rain and we had some great weather today. We did get more mowing done today but again lost a belt and this time it had to be replaced so we didn't get as much mowing done as we wanted.

WORK DAY TODAY
It looked like a bomb hit but it was only dust from the mower, good thing we had some nice wind today. The ground is so dry and so is the grass. We did get some mowing and weed eating done today. Now we have thrown a belt on the mower and it will be worked on tomorrow to fix the belt problem. There is a lot of mowing to be done and we could use your help, we will post a message here soon about another WORK DAY at the track.

NO CLINIC TODAY
The track will not have a Clinic tonight. Dennison Smith has an injury and will not be able to ride or have a Clinic for a few days until he has had time to recuperate. Seems Dennison took a spill last Sunday. Nothing is broken just a few muscles pulled in his shoulder. We will be out working on on the track Saturday after noon and we could use your help. It will not be cold or rainy tomorrow and we will be working on several items around the track.

MOW MOW MOW - AGAIN
Seems like this is a busy time around the track. The time needed to get the entire track area mowed since the grass has kicked into high gear now. Things are looking better now and we plan to have everything mowed by next week so we can start mowing again. The place is nice and green and looking good now and we want to keep it that way.

NO PRACTICE LAST NIGHT
Seems the riders did not want to come out and play last night as we only had a handful of riders come out for Practice. Really to bad as it was a very nice evening and could have been a great time to get in some track time. Once again it seems the riders have not been coming to either track and the tracks need riders and parent to survive. With the crazy weather we have had for the last 2 years many times when the weather was great there has been very light rider counts. If you have not been coming out and would like to talk about your reasons so we can correct them let us talk. PRACTICE TODAY
The track will be open for Practice tonight from 6:30-8:30pm. Things are starting to heat up here and we have had a few old riders who are coming out to the track wanting to get back into racing. We look forward to seeing them out tonight to get time on the track and to begin their BMX careers again. How many will show up tonight, Seems we have been talking to many and some have already came out to restart. We will be seeing more as the weeks go by.

MOW MOW MOW
No we didn't have a herd of cattle at the track it was the other kind with a lawn mower instead. The grass has turned on the afterburner since we have been getting rain and things are starting to grow faster than we can keep the green stuff mowed. NICE COOL DAY
The day was nice and cool for a weekend day, it seems we have had some warm and stormy weekend days so today was a nice change. It won't be long till we will be wishing for a day like today as it will be hot and dry very soon. We do have rain in the forecast for the days ahead but a very little 20% for next Saturday. It is Friday and we will have a Rider Clinic tonight from 6-8pm, a $15 fee for each rider applies. We will be out working on the track tonight during the clinic and we could use your help. A couple of us will be out mowing tonight around the track. With all the rain we have had a sudden spark in growing grass and we want to try to stay a little ahead of the grass this summer. PRACTICE/WORK DAY TODAY
The track will be open for Practice today from 6:30-8:30pm. We have a nice dry track and it is in good shape (smooth) as well, we will be out working on the track tonight during Practice and we could use your help. With the rainy season upon us it looks as if we may start opening the track on Thursday evenings. We may do something like if we cancel Sunday racing we will race on the following Thursday weather permitting.

ALMOST NO RAIN TODAY
It was grey and cloudy all day and we did get some rain today but it was more like a mist than rain and the track did not even get wet. We did go out and work today but all we did was mow and pick up some trash out front. The track is almost dry today but we have showers in the forecast for tomorrow but we did today as well, never really made it today. Once again we had a motorcycle riding on the track Sunday morning, it really did not do much damage but it still should not have been on the track in the first place.

With the rain yesterday we will cancel races for today. The track was very wet but not much erosion has occurred. Some of us will be out working during the day but we are not sure to the time just yet. We will be working to clean up around the track and if the grass dries up some we will be mowing a little.

The weather was much cooler today and most of the day is was cloudy but we did have some very light sprinkles late in the evening and it looks as if we will have more coming tomorrow. The track is dry and we did not work there today. We may have to cancel our race for Sunday if we get much rain and our forecast has rain tomorrow, it looks as if we are into the Spring Rain cycle now and timing is everything for races and practice.

NO RACE TODAY
We will cancel our race today due to wet track conditions. The track was hard hit by the rain and is very wet and muddy. We had some standing water in several places around the track and the entire infield between the 3rd straight and the rhythm section was flooded and underwater. What a mess and since we have rain in the forecast for the rest of this week we may not be able to practice or ride the track till next week. We will have to wait to see what Mother Nature has in store for us over the next week.

It is now 5pm and the rain has stopped and the sun is out for the time being. We have had over 1.4 inches of rain at the National Weather Service in the last 24 hours, good for the plants but bad for the track. Later today we will announce about races for Sunday. As it looks we will not be dried enough to race tomorrow but who knows what will happen.

RAIN, HAIL AND TORNADOES
We had it all today with a real mix of Spring weather coming to town and it was real exciting to watch the weather men report on the weather. At one time we had 2 tornadoes on the ground about a mile or so from each other, one did not do any damage to speak of and the other trashed a couple airplane hangars about 40 miles west of the track. They both then died out and about 1 hour later the entire storm had died to light rain only. Just another Spring day in TORNADO ALLEY.

NICE DAY TODAY
Today was warm and breezy and we are to have about the same for tomorrow. Our weather forecast has a small chance of rain late Sunday evening and into Monday and Tuesday but only a small chance. We could use more rain as the state is about 10 below our normal for this time of year. As long as the rain comes on a day we are not having Practice or Races we will be OK.

We had an interesting night at the track Friday evening with a small crowd making it to the track. It was a great evening and everyone had fun, we even got a few things looking good around the track while we were there. As this is Spring we also got started mowing for the year, KILLA (our mower) was out and around reeking havoc on the grass. We also will be trimming on our trees soon to clear more shady areas around the track.

In an effort to make it easier for riders to attend and spent time at the track we have changed the day of our Clinics to Friday. It is the time of year for the races and the weather to start heating up. With the new riders and our long time riders showing up our races have begun to grow. We have now scheduled our State Qualifier Race and our Race for Life will follow soon (on being scheduled). We hope the year is getting better at the track and hope to have some more changes soon on the track. With changes a track challenges riders to become better in both their riding skills and the ability to adapt to changes.

You know it is funning that we neglected to change the phone message for Sunday and some people really did not know what to do about that. It seems that those who called the track has to cuss and complain if everything is not perfect for them. Once again it was time for working on the track today and we had some little projects which got some attention. It is the time of year to begin mowing at the track as the grass is growing even though we haven't had much rain so speak of. The track saw some work on the 2nd straight and more is in store for the next week as we get that part of the track back in tip top shape for racing. With the wind today we won't have much sweeping to do to get the loose stuff off the track as most of it is half way to Kansas tonight.

TIME FOR HELPING
You know things have a funny way of coming to the surface in life. Working at a BMX track can lead to many things and one is watching a young person grow to manage life. It is these times that make spending volunteer time at our track is so much fun for myself. After raising children it is most enlightening to watch other young ones grow and to see the young at heart come to the track for some fun. At times it is hard work as a race track after all is a business and must 'make money' to survive and become better. But it is different in that this business is not in operation for profit for share holders or owners but to help others have a better life by offering one a place to go and have fun.

We did have another great day of weather today but we did have some windy conditions all day. It was a nice day with the high almost making it to 90° weather so far this year and the way it looks we won't be getting much more than a sprinkle over the weekend so the track should be staying in good shape for a few more days to come.

Today we had no rain and it is a little windy but it was nice and warm. We had rain in the weather forecast for several days but that has been deleted. It may be windy but we have no rain in the forecast for at least 5 days and maybe longer, it depends on which forecast you read.

RAIN TODAY, RACE TOMORROW
It is now about 5pm Friday afternoon and we have been getting rain for about an hour now. It is very light rain and we will be racing tomorrow with Sign ups from 2:30-3:30pm. The track is in good shape and the rain has just made it a little damp. At 4pm there was a walk of the track and we did not have any muddy spots, with the rain stopping at about 6pm we will be dry in plenty of time for racing tomorrow. We will be out working on the track tonight to prepare for racing tomorrow.

NO CLINIC TONIGHT
At 4pm we have winds at 32mph from the west and gusting to near 50mph. With this in mind we will cancel our Clinic for tonight. As few of us will be out working on the track this evening after 6pm. Come on out and help get the track ready for our 400 Point Weekend coming up starting Saturday at Yukon BMX. Both tracks will race Saturday and Sunday (weather permiting). Our ever changing forecast has changed with a chance of rain tomorrow and Saturday, our rain changes were the same today as the forecast has for both Friday and Saturday. Today we did get enough rain the get the streets wet but is was dried out before the 30+mph winds hit us.

THANK YOU
After looking at the track before last night it was a little under the weather to say the least. We want to say THANK YOU to everyone who came out last night to Practice. It was a very nice evening and most everyone had a great time riding and working on the track. The people who helped work on the track get a special THANK YOU because they gave important time and effort to help improve the condition of our track. Also we need to say THANKS to Yukon BMX for loaning their 4 wheeler.
We will postpone our Board Election till next April 16th.

PRACTICE TODAY
Today will be a good day to come out and Practice at Sooner Pearl. We will have practice from 6:30 to 8:30pm and our customary $3 fee applies. With all the hard rain we got Saturday night the track is in good shape since it has dried out. We will be working on the turns this week and will be out at the track working each evening the rest of this week. With the last 400 Point weekend upon us the track needs to be in great shape for the weekend. Look for rain to have an impact on the track schedule this next month or two as we are getting into the Spring cycle where we have a couple days with rain and 2-3 days without. The timing of the rain can have a big affect on when we cancel events.
We will postpone our Board Election till April 16th.

PLAYIN' IN THE DIRT
What a day we had here today. No strong winds mostly clear skies and near 70° for a high today. It was real nice so nice it was time to get to some dirt work on the track. With a couple pick-up loads of dirt we loaded up coming out of the second turn to fix a mud hole. We will be getting as much fresh dirt as we can some will go directly on the track and some will go on out dirt 'bank' for our rework of the second straight. We may have been way off base thinking our main drain for the second and rhythm section may not have gotten filled with dirt. It seems there was a dump of dirt, rocks and rubble on top of the end of the drain and it had collapsed and/or broken back in the creek bank. This caused it not to drain well and we had thought that meant we would have to wreak havoc on the big triple. Now we will wait to see waht happens when we get more rain before the triple gets 're-built'.

NO RACE TODAY
We will cancel racing today due to rain damage to the track. The track is dry enough to ride on but our turns took a beating from the hard rain last night. All 3 turns are to rough to race on today. We have some standing water off the track and 3 muddy spots on the track. We will be out working on the track today after noon, we will address the muddy spots and begin working on the turns so we will be able to have Practice Tuesday evening. RAIN TODAY?
The sky was clear this morning and has turned cloudy this afternoon. It has been warm all day and the forecast high is around 80° with a 30% chance of rain so we will not see much rain today. The track is dry and if we do get some light rain it would be good for the track. Our forecast is much the same for tomorrow with a slightly higher chance of rain and our wind will change direction sometime during the day. As long as we get no hard rain overnight we will race Sunday.

WORKING LIGHTS
We had another nice day today with some clouds and winds today but no rain. The south wind today was very gusty until late afternoon when it did start to let back off. The evening was nice with light winds and a very colorful sunset with clouds on the horizon at sunset. It was warm after sunset and still at the track as the sky darkened but the track was lit up nicely as OG&E and their contractors came out to work on our courtesy lights today. The are working but have a little problems which will be corrected next week.

WET WEATHER AHEAD?
Our 'change on the drop of a hat' weather forecast is starting not to look good for the weekend. We have a chance of rain for both Saturday and Sunday but the highs are looking mighty nice at near 80. We could use more rain but our order is for rain on Monday and Friday only! So this weekend rain just has to stay very light and late in the day.

DIRT DAY
We had a little more dirt added to our growing pile for the track today. If the dirt pile gets big soon we may be in store for some remodeling soon. Our next track project is to freshen up the second straight so watch out as something may be different soon. We want to thank those who have been trasporting the dirt to the track and as always we could use some help. If you have a truck which you don't mind hauling dirt in we could surely put it to good use. If we are not getting rain Saturday afternoon we plan to once again work on getting more dirt moved as we never have enough of the good old Oklahoma red dirt. Who said it was clean? NO BMX is dirty business and we have fun making it that way. See you at the track!

RACE TODAY
Sooner Pearl will race today with Sign ups from 1-2pm. The track will be a little under the weather but is looking good. NICE DAY
Our weather was great today and the track did get some work today. We had a few people out working today and some of our spots which had water standing from the last rain were worked on today, at least 2 places should be in much better shape when we get the next rain. Over all the track is in good shape with most areas smooth and only needing packing a a little water to be back in great shape again. Our rain was nice with the exception we had to cancel a Practice and Race but the track is in good shape as the rain made a few places that needed to be wet and worked on got the wet part and we will be working on them this next week.

DRY TODAY
Today was windy and dry. Seems that is what our weather is most of the time . Wind is a part of life here as it is in the Plains States, the dry part will only last for a while. Our state is known for the wind around us and a BMX racer here should get use to having it as a factor in a race. When riding at an outdoor track wind can be a very important factor.

Our weather forecast has snow for tonight, currently we are forecast to get less than 1 inch of snow so the track will be wet tomorrow (if we get snow) so we will more than likely cancel our Clinic for Thursday evening. MUDDY TODAY
The track is muddy and did have some standing water but not much. After all the rain we got the track is in good shape it was suprising to walk around and see very few rough places and most of the track was smooth. Just a little on the wet side to work on but not bad shape. If the sun comes out and we have some wind tomorrow we may have Practice Tuesday evening. The weather today should be nice with little wind and warm temperatures and it looks as if we will have another dry warm week ahead. Our weekly forecast already has rain for next weekend so we will be looking at the changes during the week.
YES Sooner Pearl will match the membership offers in March of Yukon BMX for NEW members and renewals. We will be working (as is Yukon BMX) to increase overall membership in the city area which is a year round job. Increased membership means we all benefit from a larger rider base which in turn means more competitive races and better separation of rider skill levels and age for races. Increased rider base also improves the money flow to each track which in turn increases the amount of improvements which each track makes during a given year and that in turn makes the tracks better for all.

We did some work around the track today as the weather was great and it is time to start getting things back in shape for our next 400 POINT WEEKEND approaching fast. The track is looking good and we want it to look better this weekend and next weekend. The dry weather has made it possible to skip working on the track for a few days as there is no weather related degrading without rain coming down to wash the track.

MORE ON TRACK WORK
There will be a WORK DAY at Sooner Pearl on Saturday March 11th after the days races are finished. We have a few areas which need attention and with the 400 POINT WEEKEND approaching fast these areas need work. Nearly all track needs to be worked on in some way but there are a few places which need special attention both for safety and racing.

WE DID GET RAIN
Mother Nature finally decided to let us have a little rain in the city today. Most of the rain was in south and eastern parts of the state with a mere .2 inches here in the city area. It wasn't even enough to get the dust to settle as the winds were pretty fierce with the storm system and again the bulk of the high winds were in the southeast parts of the state. We did have Practice last night and had a good show of riders. However there seems to be a small group of riders who seem to think breaking track rules is OK. Now at Sooner Pearl we will have a short meeting of riders, parents and Track Officials before each event to let everyone know we treat all members equally and there will not be any favoritism. Most unfortunate that a few riders feel the need to be treated 'special'.

GREAT RACING SUNDAY
We had some great racing Sunday and a good turn out for a National weekend. The track was fast and so were the riders as they made it around the track. We even had a ole mans race yesterday and it was nice to see some of the older folks getting involved in racing. Who knows what will happen this year at Sooner Pearl, we have plans for some changes but the unplanned changes may just top what we have planned. We had a great day as far as the weather went with little wind and 80's for a high yesterday, it was NICE.

WHAT IS IT WITH THE RAIN
Well the rain was a no show again today with only very light showers, not even enough to settle the dust. We did have some wind today but not bad but the sky was cloudy all day. We did have a shower once today but it only lasted a minute or two only it was light rain. Dry again today with a chance for showers tomorrow. It looks as if we will be racing tomorrow as all the rain has been very light and the track is dry.

LITTLE RAIN
It was cool and cloudy this morning but there was not much rain. The weather forecast was for chance of rain but the rain just didn't quite make it tot won today. Most of the heavy rain was east and south of town and the track managed to stay dry for another day. Things are looking better for Sunday racing at Sooner Pearl. Stay tuned.

COOLER AND RAIN
As mentioned earlier this week it looks like rain today and we have rain in the forecast for the next few days as well. If the forecasts are correct we may be able to race Sunday as most of the rain is forecast for Friday and Saturday. If we get a lot of rain we may have to cancel we will just have to wait to see what happens but we are planning to race Sunday if the track stays dry.

VERY NICE DAY
What a beautiful day with record setting high temperatures. More like late spring it was nothing short of wonderful weather with a little wind for good measure. But it was another day of wild fires and another day without rain which means more fires are on the way. What a dry winter we have had this year. Unlike 2005 when we had more rain than one wants and timed on days which forced us to cancel many races last year.

PRACTICE TODAY
Sooner Pearl will have Practice tonight from 6:30-8:30pm. The track is in good condition and we will have a great evening for riding tonight. If you are going to the Cornhusker National this will be one of your last chances to get some track time before this race in Nebraska. The weather looks to be good tonight with light winds and mild temperatures. We have rain in the forecast for later this week so stay tuned for info on our weekend races.

WINDY NICE DAY
The wind was powerful today with gusts around 40 mph but the warm temperatures almost made up for the wind. It was nice and warm today but if you were outside you needed a rock in your pocket to stay grounded. We have chances of rain forecast for the weekend, Thursday, Friday and Saturday. Stay tuned for info on the weekend events. We will be watching the weather close for the weekend.

RACE TODAY
We will be racing today with Sign ups from 1-2pm. The track is in good condition and ready for races. We will be out a little early to get things looking good for our race today. The weather will be great and we will not have much wind so it will be a good day to come out and race. With the forecast high in the 60's it should be much warmer than our last few race day and with almost no wind we will have a nice day on tap.

WORK DAY
We did go out and do a little work around the track today but not much on the track itself as it is already in good shape for races. It won't be long till we will be have regular WORK DAYS to get things going on changes to the track which we have planned for this year. We could use your help! Next project is to get the 2nd straight rebuilt and to get our drainage problem corrected. Both will have to wait till we get a Bobcat or Skid Steer out to do the heavy lifting for us.

WORK DAY
A few of us will be out working on the track tomorrow getting things ready for Sunday races. The track is in good shape and should be no problem for a WORK DAY. You could come out and help us get it smooth and packed. It looks as if the forecast rain is going south of town today so we are not yet worrying about getting dried out for Sunday.

JUST GETTING BETTER
Another day goes by and our weather is much better than yesterday and things are looking up for weekend races. It was fairly nice today and the forecast is for improving weather for the weekend with a slight chance for rain on Friday. The track is in good shape but needs a good packing to get the loose stuff cleaned up. We lucked out and had no riders on the track after our winter weather so the track is still looking good just a little loose but not dusty yet.

The track is dry now and we look forward to racing this weekend. We will be watching the weather but it looks as if we will have no problems with cold or precip till next week. The weekend weather looks great but as always that could change before Saturday comes around. We will just have to watch the weather, at least the track is looking good and without any work on top of that!

NO PRACTICE TODAY
Sooner Pearl will not have Practice today. The track is wet and muddy. It will be the weekend before we have another event at the track. We may have a WORK DAY Thursday and/or Saturday if it is not raining or real cold. We should be able to race Sunday even if we do get some rain on Friday as the track can dry in 2 days in winter.

MORE FREEZING RAIN OVER NIGHT
One more day to wake to ice covered roads and vehicles. It was warmer today and most of the ice and snow has melted away so it can refreeze tonight. The track is in good condition, it is muddy but not real muddy. At 4pm today we had some ice and snow still on the track and we have had a hard freeze when the track was wet. This causes the surface layer of the track to fluff up. The track is to wet to ride on currently. With the high humidity and almost no wind it will take a while for the track to dry. In winter it will take 2 days of clear sunny days with wind to dry enough to ride.

MORE WINTER PRECIP
Early this morning we got more ice and freezing rain but not much. It is cold enough for this stuff to stick around till tomorrow when we will have above freezing temperatures during the day Monday. The forecast is for better temperatures on Tuesday and we may even be able to Practice Tuesday evening if the track is dry enough. We are hoping the slow rate of the precipitation and melting will allow the track to stay dry enough to ride on Tuesday.
Stay tuned for info on Practice Tuesday. We will be looking at the track Monday and watching the temperatures Tuesday to determine if we can ride Tuesday evening.

FREEZING RAIN, SLEET AND SNOW
Winter is most definitely here today with a mix of wintery precipitation coming down over night last night and the forecast calls for more the rest of the weekend. By the end of the day most of the streets were cleared and driving was not bad but we have a few icy spots to watch out for. The whole middle of the US is in the deep freeze this weekend and it is moving northeast to the Atlantic coast.

SAND SPRINGS BMX REBUILD?
A recent email says 'the Sand Springs Track has been rebuilt! YEA!!! Come down and take a test ride! It's the BOMB!'
It looks as if this year will be a year of track building in Oklahoma. Sand Springs BMX with a new rebuild, Yukon BMX with a new rebuild and Sooner Pearl has had some changes with more on the way this year. Guess if you haven't been racing around then you better get ready for some changes. The year has already had many races due to the nice mild (so far) winter.

COLD WEATHER AHEAD
Mother Nature is once again coming in with a wave of winter weather. Today our temperature dropped about 20° in less than an hour. As it looks we will not be able to work out on the track till the weekend of the 25th-26th due to the weather forecast. One thing is for sure there will not be any racing Oklahoma this weekend.

HEY WE RACED TODAY
If you didn't make it out you missed some great racing today. It was a little on the windy side and cool but was a good day for the middle of February. The wind was gusting at times just before races started and after but during the motos we didn't have any hard gusts. The wind made it feel a little cooler than the 48° temps and the nice sunny skies made it down right warm when the wind was not blowing, all in all a good day for races.

It was a time to look back on, to reflect on the individuality of each person. What makes us different but the same, in BMX it is to have fun, compete, practice and have more fun. Some forget this. When we are at the track we are setting an example as individuals, some forget this as well.

PRACTICE TODAY
It will be open and ready for you to come Practice tonight. We will be out working on the track before practice today but the gate will not be set up till about 6:30pm.
Due to recent events we have now started locking the gate on the entrance to the track. The City has already told us to lock it to restrict the flow to the river area and we have had some problem with people coming in and messing around with the track and buildings. We will continue to lock the gate so if you want to ride after hours you should park across the street and ride down the drive to the track.

COOLER WEATHER, MORE ON SOONER NATIONALS
We have had a front move into town and cooled the weather off after a fairly nice weekend for the Sooner Nationals. It was several degrees cooler today and it looks as if that is going to stay and get cooler later in the week. Today the weather for the weekend looks OK but Saturday is looking to cold to race but Sunday may be better. We will have to wait to see as it will change through the week.

SOONER NATIONALS, HISTORY IS MADE AGAIN
The racing is over, the dust has settled, ABA is moving on and history has been made. The end has come and gone. But the tradition will live on here in Oklahoma. What a weekend of racing and fun it was for those who came. A very big THANK YOU to every one who came and made this such a great event. It is over for another year but it WILL BE BACK in 2007! Plans have already begun for another very successful National in Guthrie Oklahoma. We want to see YOU next year. YOU don't want to miss this National. If you didn't attend this one, it is time to start clearing your calendar for 2007!

SOONER NATIONALS SATURDAY RACES
What can we say it was a great day to be at the National today. With 200 motos the racing was hot even though the weather was not. We had some real hard and heavy racing today and there were many who ventured to hit the PRO SECTION which is about 80 feet shorter than the amateur section of the track, some made it with no problems to finish with a huge margin at the finish line. Some didn't make it and cased or stopped in the soft middles to find out the PRO SECTION was not as easy as it looked. Sorry no pictures today as we were having camera problems and none of our pictures made the final cut.

SOONER NATIONALS PRE-RACE
Once again the races did better than expected today and so did may of the local riders. Again this year the Sooner National moto count for the Pre-race has grown over last year. With 73 motos last year the total was up to 78 for year and the weekend is proving to be better than ever. Five more motos may not seem like much but it looks as if the word is getting out that this race is one to attend. It looked as if the PRO's were having a good time on the track as well so things are only going to get better over the weekend. We were so busy today there were no pictures taken so you will have to wait till tomorrow for more.

PRACTICE TODAY
Sooner Pearl will Practice today from 6:30-8:30pm. This will be your last chance to get in practice at Sooner Pearl before the Sooner National next weekend. If you plan to race the National YOU NEED PRACTICE before this race.

WEATHER AT THE SOONER NATIONALS
Our weather forecast for the upcoming Sooner National looks great now but this is sure to change before the racing begins. Currently the Friday forecast is for a high in the upper 50's, low near 30. For Saturday a high in the lower 60's and a low near 35, Sunday a high in the upper 60's and a low in the mid 30's with some clouds on Saturday and clear Friday and Sunday. The weather has been very nice this year and it MAY hold over till the races are over, we hope so. See you there!

HOLY COW.....BATMAN
Sooner Pearl will race today with Sign ups from 1-2pm. The track did get a lot of rain but is fine now and we will be out early putting the finishing touches on it for races today. If the track could talk it would have said thank you for the rain. We really needed it and it was welcome on a day which we didn't have a race scheduled on. It is dry now and ready to ride so come out to race. We have been fortunate so far this year and once again the track will be in great shape for races. Lets hope this continues the rest of the year.

RAIN?
After what seems like forever it has finally arrived? What you may ask. Very early this morning it started to rain and it looks as if we will have some more before the day is over. It has been a long time coming and many here are now thanking a higher power for the liquid. Maybe our statewide fire danger will go down from extreme for a few days and our local fire fighters can get a little rest. If you are planning to race here Sunday we would suggest you check here or better call the track phone before you leave to check on our track conditions.

DID YOU MISS PRACTICE?
Things are getting pretty hot at the track and it was quite apparent last night at Practice. If a crowd at the starting gate was not enough when the wait to get on the gate should have been. It was very refreshing to see a big crowd and FULL GATES of riders up on the hill last night. If you did not come out then you truly missed a great night at the track of working on gates, riding the new rhythm section and getting to talk to your fellow OK01 riders. To bad for you!
With only a couple races and a couple practices between us and the Sooner National there is little time left to ride. The Sooner Nationalis on the weekend of February 3-5 for this National race. PRACTICE TODAY
The weather will be nice but cool and we will have Practice tonight. Our $3 Practice fee applies and Practice will be from 6:30 to 8:30pm. We look forward to seeing you there. GOOD RACES YESTERDAY
After all the hoopla about the weather it seems Mother Nature was in a good mood and once again rain just missed us by miles. We could use the rain as it is very dry here but please after we race. The day turned into a really nice afternoon and evening. The sun came out and it warmed up very nicely after the clouds left, about 30 minutes before Sign ups started. The track is still in great shape and had some touch up work on Saturday. As it looks we will have Practice Tuesday evening from 6:30 to 8:30pm and it will be cool but not never our threshold of canceling an event. We look forward to seeing you there. Also next weekend (our last races before the Sooner National) is looking good currently with warm temps and clear skies. As usual we will have to wait as this will change.

RACE TODAY!
As of 10am we had no rain yet but it is cloudy and cool. We have had no rain overnight and it looks as if we will not be getting rain today. We have rain to the south and snow to the north. We will race today.

A huge weekend has been planned for this summer. It looks as if the weekend of June 10-11 is building to be a big weekend of racing in Oklahoma.

NICE DAY
The weather was great today and a few of us will be out working on the track after 2pm today. As it stands we have a slight chance of rain for tomorrow and we will have to wait to see what Mother Nature has in store Sunday. 2005 ABA DISTRICT POINTS FINAL
Well it seems just a short time ago we were talking about the end of the 2004 season and our new District plate numbers which we ran in 2005. Now we have completed another year of great racing and you may change you number plate again for the 2006 season. Congratulations to all the District OK01 riders. Those numbers were a long time coming and earned from hard racing during the 2005 season, wear them well!

2006 ABA SEASON
The 2006 season has already proven to be very HOT in Oklahoma and the riders have been to the tracks to make it happen. The last 400 POINT WEEKEND was a great success and plans are already underway for the next BIG weekend. With the Sooner National just around the corner the 2006 season is starting to get wound up and if Mother Nature allows it looks as if this year may be a banner year for ABA racing in Oklahoma. We have had a couple of lean years here and we hope to make 2006 a most memorable year for the local racers. In saying that let us say THANK YOU again for the great 2005 season and wish all ABA racers and parents a great 2006 season.

PRACTICE TONIGHT
We will have PRACTICE tonight from 6:30-8:30. We understand is will be a little on the cool side but some of us will be out working on the track and we can practice if riders want. The track is looking good and after the sun goes down the wind will die off so it may be a great evening to be at the track.
We have now had to turn in our Skid-Steer so the heavy dirt work we have planned for the track will not start again soon. We will be trying to get the Skid-Steer back or get another piece of heavy equipment to complete our left over work. We hope to have most of this work completed before the end of February.

THANKS TO EVERYONE
It was a great weekend of racing in OK01 and if you didn't attend then you really missed out. Both tracks (Sooner Pearl and Yukon) are in maybe their best shape for years and it showed in the performance of the racers. The rebuilt rhythm section at Sooner Pearl has proven to be a good investment of work and the racers got some great finishes from it as well. We had some of our windy days but that was not much of a factor to the racers who made it seem as though there was no wind involved. At Sooner Pearl we had many comments about the track and the rhythm section, it was quite a sight to see Sooner Pearl all dressed up with a much improved surface and the entire track chalked. We have a few pictures which we may post in the next few days.

400 POINT WEEKEND - DAY 2
Not just another day at the track, this is day 2 of a 400 point weekend. We will have better weather today than Saturday, if we could slow down the wind would be nice. If we could order the weather then there goes half the fun of outdoor racing in the sun, cold, wind and sometimes rain. After all that is half the fun being outside in the fresh air.
Yesterday proved to be a good day of racing at both tracks. A little cool a little windy but great weather just the same. It looked as if the riders had a good time and we saw a few spectators who were having fun so it was a great racing day and today it continues.

400 POINT WEEKEND
What can be said other than WOW. The tracks are great and racing starts just after 1pm today. A few of us stayed late last night to get Sooner Pearl ready for races this weekend. The newly rebuild rhythm section and a few other areas are finished and the track is awesome. We even spent the time to chalk the entire track last night. It looked so good nice and clean damp and chalked last night. What a weekend this will prove to be and if you don't come you will just miss the best looking Sooner Pearl track since the rebuild in 2002. Now things are getting better sand we should have some really great racing today and tomorrow.

FINISH TRACK WORK
The work on the track should be completed today. The riding surface is looking good now and our work today will finish the minor adjustments to the newly rebuild rhythm section. The work to this part of the track has been a major project this week with a 2 day race schedule for the upcoming weekend. We are sure to have some comments on this project as much work has been focused on changing this area of the track. This part of the track had rebuilt in 2002 and has needed work since as we did not have enough dirt to build with at the time. That has changed.

CLEAN UP THE MESS
Today was a day of work to clean up the mess around the track which has appeared due to work on the track. Much of the mess was removed and things are starting to lok a whole lot better now. We have added dirt to some places other than the track and tried to smooth the area around the tower and between the finish line and staging. All this work will be completed Friday and things will look quite different. Now we will need the grass to start growing in these areas to make things look great.

MORE WORK TODAY
It is Wednesday and this is Practice day at Yukon BMX. While most of the racers here in town will be there working on their skills some will be at Sooner Pearl. A few of us are working on the track to prepare for the races next weekend. The snow is gone and the track is dry already and for the most part was dry yesterday. We have added some dirt to a few jumps and raised some low areas on the track to improve drainage. If we have the Skid-Steer for the weekend we will be working on the triple starting after races end Sunday. This is an important job as one of our drains is located under this jump and this drain is starting to be restricted. Focus on this repair is vital to keeping our track and the infield areas dry after rain.

SNOW PRACTICE TODAY
We will not have Practice tonight as it will be below 40° after the sun goes down. If you want to come out and ride that is OK as we will be out working on the track tonight. We will have the lights on but the gate will not be running tonight. The track is dry even though we did get some snow last night, it was so dry already the snow only made it a little moist and easy to work on. We have been working on the track the last few evenings and things are looking good.

BETTER NOW
Only a few short weeks ago we had to close our track due to a burglary. Now we are 9 days into a new year and things are going very well. We raced again yesterday, we had a good show of riders. The weather could not have been much better and there were smiles all around. There was a good 'day at the races' today at Sooner Pearl and we almost sold out of drinks and a few other items as well.

Practice Tuesday evening from 6:30-8:30pm.(weather permitting)
It looks as if we may be very cold Tuesday evening, we don't have events when the temperature is 40° or below. The current forecast has a low Tuesday of 30° so it will be close.

RACE TODAY
It is race time at the track again today and we think there are more than a few who are ready to come race. The track is looking good and we have had time to work a little here and there. We will start working on the track after the race Sunday. Some of the drainage work will start then as well.

Sooner Pearl will have Practice Tuesday evening from 6:30-8:30pm. It will be a good time to work on gates. We will have a great time and some of our old riders will be out on the track as well.

Next weekend will kick of the first 400 Point Weekend. We are sure this will turn out to be one weekend of racing action at both tracks. We will have some fun and do a bunch of racing with our BMX friends. The rider count is already growing so don't miss these races. TRACK WORK
It looks like a whole bunch of work to us but someone has to do it. We were able to get the lights working again and now we are starting to work on the track. We now have some dirt and THANKS to Sooner Lift we have a Skidsteer (Bobcat) we will be using this month. Not big enough to build turns but small enough to maneuver on the track and build jumps this is a great time saver and back saver as well. We will be working on the last straight and drainage.
Yukon BMX will be racing today with Sign ups from 12:30 - 1:00pm. This will be their 1st race of the year. Their track is in good shape and races should be good today. SEE YOU THERE.

LIGHTS REPAIRED
It was a good day again at the track. We had more help today as we were able to get the lights working again. We can now again have events in the evenings so that means we can PRACTICE again. Starting next week we will have Practice Tuesday (weather permitting). It was nice to see the entire track lite up again and we have not one safety issue with riding after dark.

Well once again the piles of dirt have grown. It is nice to have some good dirt to work on the track. We will have enough to rework the last straight soon. Our plans are to make some changes in the jumps and rollers as well as adding some dirt to some low places in other places as well. The few places we have any drainage problems should be fixed very soon. Once again we plan to have the track drying in 48 hours now and 24 later in the year after we have our early 'rainy season'.

TIME TO RACE
The weekend is getting closer and the anticipation is already building for the weekend. Both tracks will be racing this weekend at our regularly scheduled times. Yukon will kick it off Saturday and Sooner Pearl will finish with a race on Sunday. Both tracks are in great shape and our weather will be nice for both days. Sand Springs BMX is racing on Friday evening as well. Their web site is DOWN so call ahead for the latest info on their times and dates.

More dirt is in order today, we have only had a pick up to haul in so far but we will chip away as best we can. We plan to get enough to make a few overdue changes to the track. It may be some time till we make the changes but they will happen as soon as we can get things together. As most people know we have some very hard working and dedicated people involved in BMX in Oklahoma.

LIGHTS AND DIRT
It has been a long time coming but it looks as if we will have our lights repaired as soon as this evening. Our friend David Davis has agreed to come out this week with his bucket track to help repair the lights. As it was we had planned to start Tuesday evening but due to mechanical problems this was not to happen, we plan to start this evening.

The track again has had good fortune as we have been able to procure some dirt for improvements to the track. We will be out working on the track Thursday evening. We will have enough to get a good start on some of the planned work by that time. It could be that in a week or so if we don't get rain we may have work completed on the 1st straight, our biggest drainage problem area and we will then concentrate on a rework of the last straight. Some other areas are on the list of things to do this year and we hope to get a head start on them this year.

NO PRACTICE / ANNOUNCEMENT
We will again cancel Practice this week as we have not been able to get our lights repaired yet. More than likely we will also cancel Thursday races as well. We are working to get equipment to the track this week. As soon as we get the lights fixed we will start Practices again on Tuesday evenings.

BIG ANNOUNCEMENT
Now that the tracks are working together there will be some changes at each track. Our boards have met and worked to build a race schedule we can live with. Sooner Pearl will stop racing on Saturdays except as noted below, we will still have practice on Tuesdays (after the lights are repaired) and we will stop racing on Thursdays. Sunday races will continue so now there will be only 1 race at each track on the weekends and 1 practice at each track during the week. We will have weekends which both tracks will races both days of the weekend, these weekends are listed below.

RIDING THE WIND
What can be said about today? It was the windiest day since most of us started racing today. We had a great show of riders and parents. The track was great and the riders even with all the wind had some of their best races yet. There were local racers, out of town racers and out of state racers. Our new equipment worked flawlessly and for the first time we had a great day all around. Not only did the races go well after the races there was a meeting which will have implications for the remainder of this year and beyond for BMX in Central Oklahoma. More on this VERY soon.

Since our October burglary we have been in the process of replacing the stolen items. Today we used a very new method of using our computer to play the riders meeting and National Anthem over our PA system. No more needing a disc player to prep for a race. We just cut out another item we would have had to replace, it worked great and we will be using this method for other sound jobs at the track.

A NEW START
Well 2005 is over and we begin an new year today. Sooner Pearl will be racing today with Sign ups from 1-2pm. As it looks the track is now in great shape thanks to help from several people yesterday. We had several riders and parents from Yukon here today working on the track and some of our riders were at Yukon BMX working earlier today as well. It's always nice to have help working on any track, 8 people can do as much work in 1 hour as 1 person in a day so the help does make a big difference. These situations always helps both tracks and just make each a better place. We also want to say THANK YOU to all riders and parents for a great 2005 season and hope 2006 is better!
