Announcement June 10-2007
2007 State Qualifier Race.
THANK YOU
Sooner Pearl wants to say THANK YOU to all those who came out to race today and the volunteers who made the racing possible. With a line of thunderstorm barreling from the southwest toward Oklahoma City and then turning to the north to miss the city we had a race on.
Good clean racing with very few spills and very intense work is what made the racing great today. The track was smooth with some loose spots, but that is racing and what makes it a challenge.
Our weather was nice for a early Summer morning with overcast skies turning to sunny and back to cloudy and light winds it was HOT and so was the racing!
GOOD LUCK to all our Oklahoma ABA racers in the Oklahoma State Final!
PS. We did get rain today 5 hours afer the racing ended. If it has been an afternoon or evening race it would have been rained out. We are thankful is was not!
